Italian Republic Day is a cultural symbol for every Italian. On this day we remember a very specific choice, a well-defined democracy founded on inviolable principles that have made our homeland unique and free.
So in our present days we never take for granted who we are and where we come from, and what the word peace really means in a land that welcomes freedom in all its forms.
