Professional Padel Player

I welcome you in my virtual space, all of you, sports and non-sports friends.

I like to call it my personal corner, where I find myself sharing with you competitions, victories, losses, fatigues and thoughts in the wonderful world of padel and in my daily routine as a person living in the contemporary world, in a planet that invests us more and more with challenges and changes, as you may have already noticed.

Sometimes really on the edge, but enough to make us appreciate even more the truest emotions, I think. But that’s definitely what life is about. At least for me, nothing comes easy, it may seem trite to say, but I have never stopped fighting and discovering the limits, every second, every day, every year.

What padel teaches is that the pace of events can also increase, but you have to be just as aware and accompanying, without ever losing the shrewdness of being yourself and, believe me, being yourself you never discover it before. You discover it when you see the horizon of the net and understand how you have to relate to the boundaries of others, and you discover it the moment the ball is faster than your fears. And that makes you grow on the field.

What padel gives you is that with its natural immediacy it is no longer a game for the elite, but for a wider audience, and at the same time, with the same immediacy, it leads to the knowledge of a singularity that I cannot define as my “opponent”, because that would be reductive, but knowing their limits and merits, I can define the other player as my “reflection”.

If I have learned to counter it is because of the other’s reflexes. Of course, motor reflexes and self reflexes, a play on words that I don’t think is accidental. This is what padel is all about: nothing random, just a continuous cause-and-effect in a larger field.

Having said this I will tell you a little more about myself thanks to this website, because I want to believe that telling about oneself goes through everything, from playing to thinking, and all, if you allow me, through the most elegant synthesis.

That’s why in some of the photos you will see the metaphor of my game, elegant dress inside and out always, because style is the means that determines the harmony of this planet. And I believe that this sport deserves our greatest elegance. Attention, care, perseverance, reflection, speed and boundaries: these are all the strokes of this game called life, in its harmony and beauty.

If you’d like, we’ll meet back here, discovering the reflections beyond the net.

Thank you.
